I Am a Beast Remember? At Least You Always Said So

It has been fifty-five days since he watches her every day.


Today was just a normal day, he was watching her, walking through the market and doing routine stuff. She was astoundingly beautiful, her hair were alluring, her lips were charming and her eyes, they were magnificent. The weather was cloudy and the wind was blowing. As he watched her, wind blew her hair aside from her face. He felt it as if it was a slow-motion scene. The beautiful weather added joy to the scenery. Everything seemed so beautiful.
He kept looking at her and she did not even notice him. At last, his friend came and pushed him saying, “What the hell are you doing here?” “Nothing just looking for something,” he replied. His friend said, “Don’t try to fool me; I know what are up to.” After that, they both smiled and started walking in the market. “If you like her so much, why you don’t go to her, you can be together as you were once,” his friend said. “I think I should go home,” he replied and walked away.
The weather was growing cold as the wind was howling. Soon, the weather became stormy and all the little things started to fly here and there. He rushed towards his home. All this time, his friend’s voice was waving through his mind. He thought:
How is it even possible, she is soft, she is sweet, I am angry, and I am a beast. Yes, she tried to stop my anger, but she could not, the truth is that I am weak, this anger is my only strength, and it gives me strength when I am all alone. It gives me strength when there is no one beside me. I just can’t let it go!
He crushed a glass of water in his hand thinking this. His hand started bleeding immediately.


He couldn’t sleep all night just like every other night. He was habitual of listening to “Goodnight” in her voice so when she stopped saying “Goodnight” he stopped sleeping. He kept reminiscing his past and dark memories. He felt all the pain throughout the night as his hand bled. He was a victim of his own mind. He was an angry young man but not like others, he tried to keep his pain to himself. 


The next day, at the same time and the same place, he was keeping an eye on her again. His hand was patched. The weather was sunny and the temperature was high. He was looking at her beautiful smile as she gave cash to the person selling flowers. He looked at her closely as she bring the flowers near her lips and smelled them with her closed eyes. Closed eyes, cherry lips, flowers, the wind blowing her hair, presented the most beautiful moments someone could ever witness.
Suddenly, she opened her eyes and looked straight at him, he was watching her, hopelessly, smiling. She looked at the ground for a moment. He hit the wall with his patched hand angrily. When she looked up, he was gone. She tried to find him but couldn’t find him anywhere. Suddenly, the weather became stormy again as the wind grew faster. The wind started howling as a lion roars in the forest. She couldn’t even look precisely in this windy storm, and suddenly, the flowers loosened from her hands and flew away, she tried to chase them but all in vain. She was standing there, all alone, everyone was running to their homes. The little and even some bigger things were flying here and there in the storm. She was scared so she closed her eyes.
She felt alone until a voice came from her behind, “Are these flowers yours?” She turned around immediately to find that he was standing behind her with those flowers in his hands. She smiled and said, “Yes these are mine just as you are.” He smiled upon hearing this. The weather was mesmerizing and it became destructive soon.
He grabbed her hand instead of pursuing the conversation and started walking through the destructive and frightening storm.


When they reached her home, she murmured while entering her home, “You know my destiny awaits you, right?” “I remember this every single moment of my day,” He answered loudly. This made her smile and but then suddenly a sadness came all over her face and she said in a low voice, “But how are you going to make it possible?” “I am a beast remember? At least you always said so,” he replied and then smiled. The sight was short due to the dusty storm. He began taking his steps back.


and then he just disappeared in the storm.
